Neil Bertrand serves as the Chief Investment Officer for 180 Properties Co. In this capacity, he is responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, and asset management of the firm’s $550M+ portfolio. Neil brings over 25 years of diverse multifamily experience to 180 Properties, has worked with four NMHC Top 50 firms and has held executive positions in property management, asset management, and acquisitions. Over the course of his career, Neil has been involved in the acquisition, development, operations and disposition of conventional, senior housing, and tax credit assets across multiple states. Prior to joining 180 Properties Co, Neil worked with private equity firm Lloyd Jones, LLC and developer REIT Group, where he was involved in a $1.4 billion mixed-use development project. Neil has been a guest speaker and panelist at numerous industry conferences including IMN and Crittenden. He holds the Accredited Residential Manager designation and is a Certified Property Manager Candidate through the Institute of Real Estate Management. Neil holds a bachelor's degree in real estate from Liberty University and an MBA from Texas Wesleyan University.
